Friday Faves – No. 64

Hola! Happy Friday! I love the month of May. It’s warmer (finally) but it’s not quite the humid mess that DC can become later in the summer. Plus, I’m heading to GREECE next week and I’m excited to stuff my face with fresh Greek food.

Friday Faves – No. 64

If you read my last Friday Faves post (a few weeks ago…) then you know that Mr. CK and I have been house-hunting. And in the DC area, it feels more like a game of Survivor. However, I’m happy to report that we are thhhiiiisss close to buying one. (Insert all the raised-hands emojis here.)

But being the worrywart that I am, I’m just waiting for something to go wrong. It will be awhile before we close if it all goes through but I will share more details once it’s officially ours. I also want to write a few posts about greener options for your home so be on the lookout for those too in the coming months!

Here’s What I’ve Been Reading This Week

Thai(ish) Cauliflower Rice Salad — I love Sara’s laid-back approach; her blog is so fun to read because of her no-nonsense attitude.

How to Organize Your Kitchen Cabinets — With a move on the horizon, I’m taking all the organizational tips I can get!

Food Tastes Better in a Bowl — Amen and amen. I love bowl food! (Thanks for the reading rec, Girls Night In.)

Pantry Staples — This is such a great list. So many of my faves.

8 Ways to Make Healthy Decisions When Dining Out — Helpful tips for the patio season.

Here’s What I’ve Been Making This Week

Smoked Strawberry Mezcal Margaritas — I didn’t make a marg for Cinco De Mayo but there’s no reason to stop the celebration!

Here’s What I’ve Been Loving This Week

Negroni Sorbet — I have found my all-time favorite summer treat. I will be making this every week from now until September. Hellllooo summer in a glass!

I got a shoutout from my friend, Rachel! I love a good Swapples love story. 🙂

Thanks, as always, for following along! XO.
