December Beauty Favorites

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for work today! Oh, you’re not? Don’t worry, neither am I! Yesterday, I was in complete denial and yet, here we are. Tuesday is the new Monday. At least this week. #givemeallthecoffee

But onward and upward, right?!

This is the first time I’ve done a monthly recap of my beauty favorites. In the same way I’m a sucker for “What’s in my fridge?” posts, I love reading about what others are using in their beauty routine. Bonus points when they highlight their faves from the roundup.

I’d love to know, what are you using? What are you loving? I received some great gifts for Christmas and I’m sure those will make an appearance in my January favorites.

December Beauty Favorites

Not all of these are new to me (or you, since you’ve read about a few of these already) but they have been on constant rotation recently. So here we go!

One Love Organics Healthy Locks Dry Shampoo Powder

I’ve really been trying to wash my hair every 2-3 days. Without dry shampoo, that’s just not going to happen. Especially if I exercise. This one from One Love Organics has clean ingredients and is easy to use, even if you’re a brunette. I like that One Love Organics sells this in two sizes as I find the smaller size works for me and I can make it last for several months.

Jane Iredale Longest Lash Mascara

I just started using this mascara so it’s a newer find for me. It’s perfect for holiday parties or date night since the volume is incredible. Maybe a good Valentines’ date mascara? Just a helpful suggestion.

One Love Organics Vitamin B Cleansing Oil

I know, I know. I talk about this cleansing oil all the time but I love it! It works in all seasons but I like that it doesn’t dry my skin out in the winter like other cleansers. Sometimes I don’t even need moisturizer on top after cleansing.

Ellovi Butter

This Ellovi moisturizer is awesome in the winter. It’s more like a balm and it’s really creamy.  It’s super clean and made from only six ingredients. Six! You can use it anywhere: hands, heels, elbows, arms, legs, you name it. It’s great stuff.

Root Beauty Sleep Perfecting Serum

I know, this Root Perfecting Serum is another one I’ve mentioned before. You just can’t beat it for the price and results. I love how moisturizing it is and how well it works overnight.

Well, there you have it! What have been using this past month?

  1. Thanks for the tip about the dry shampoo! I’ve been looking for a non-toxic dry shampoo option and this looks like it will be the one for me.

I’m absolutely obsessed w. the Root beauty serum! I bought some for my sister for Christmas and she is getting hooked too!

    1. I love all of this! So glad you’ve found some things you like and that you’re getting others hooked on them too!
