My Two Favorite Green Beauty Mascaras

My Two Favorite Green Beauty Mascaras

Happy Hump Day! Let’s talk about my two favorite green beauty mascaras!

My Two Favorite Green Beauty Mascaras

Over the last few years, I’ve tried several green beauty mascaras and I’ve finally found my favorites. I’ve mentioned all of these in past monthly beauty roundups so none of these are new. But, I wanted to have a post where I mention all of them in one place. I also want to talk about the pros and cons of each so that you can make a decision based on what you’re looking for in a mascara!

Hynt Beauty Mascara

This Hynt Beauty Mascara is probably my favorite mascara for all-around use. It’s both lengthening and thickening, giving a good boost to your lashes. If you’re also looking for something that adds a bit of drama to your lashes, this is the one for you. It’s a bit harder to take off than the others so I would suggest using coconut oil to remove it at the end of the day before you wash off your face. I feel like you can use this mascara both day and night; just add one more swipe for date night.

Lily Lolo Mascara

This Lily Lolo Mascara is also fantastic. I find it’s great for daytime use, it’s not overly dramatic but it still gives a little somethin’ somethin’ to your lashes. As I mentioned in my last beauty roundup, it’s better for lengthening and doesn’t give the same drama as other mascaras like the Hynt Beauty. This is one I reach for Monday through Friday.

There are a few other mascaras I like, but these two are definitely my favorites!

Do you have a mascara you’ve been using regularly? Have you tried either of these?

  1. I tried the Lily Lolo mascara and I love it! Thanks for the recommendation! I love how easy it washes off too. I also like the Beautycounter mascara, but I have to use coconut oil to get it off. Sometimes that’s just too much work haha.

    1. Yay! So happy to hear you love it. The Beautycounter runs a bit on me unless I use a lash primer. The brush is also so small and I don’t love that. And, if you don’t like how hard it is to remove the BC, you may not like the Hynt either!

  2. Kat – which one of these doesn’t smear? I have a huge problem with that and the only mascara I like is blinc, but I’d like to switch to something more non-toxic!

    1. On me, neither of these smear. I’ve had that with a few other mascaras but I find these stay put more than others. Do they run or smear if you touch it? I’d probably lean towards the Hynt for you but you need to let it dry after you apply it. It’s harder to take off at the end of the day which is why I’d suggest it for you. It may have more staying power. The other thing you could try is a lash primer. Jane Iredale has one I like but it’s not super super clean. Have you used a lash primer before?
