Root skincare products I’m loving

Happy Friday! Let’s kick off our weekend with a few beauty products, shall we?

You know I love Root’s makeup products. After I wrote my previous post, I ordered a few more products and may love those even more. In that order, I picked up another blush, bronzer, Pretty Balm, and two eyeshadows.

In case you forgot or are a new reader, Root only uses natural, safe, and non-toxic ingredients in their products. Root doesn’t use any parabens, artificial fragrances, artificial colorants, sulfates, or phthalates. Their products are gluten-free, organic, and vegan. Additionally, their line is formulated especially for sensitive skin. Holla!

About a month ago the team from Root graciously sent me a few skincare products to try. They have some amazing products and here are a few of my favorites:

Fresh Face Moisturizer

Are you looking for a new facial moisturizer? Root’s Fresh Face Moisturizer may be perfect for you. And, the best part is that you can also use it on your body. How many body moisturizers would you or can you use on your face? Likely not many!

This moisturizer’s first ingredient is Organic Aloe Leaf Juice which is known to reduce inflammation and redness. The fresh scent comes from the grapefruit essential oil, and I love grapefruit. I love layering this under my tinted moisturizer or CC cream; it provides a great barrier between my skin and my makeup.

Deep Brown Natural Brow Pomade

This was a product I really wanted to try. I’ve been searching for a good brow product and I’d heard good things about Root’s Brow Pomade. The Deep Brown color works really well for me but they also have Ash Brown and Dirty Blonde. If you use the Brow Pomade, I would suggest using a spoolie brush after applying. By applying in little strokes, it makes your brows look full but not overdone.

Beauty Sleep Perfecting Serum

I’ve saved my favorite product for last. I am so happy I discovered this Beauty Sleep Perfecting Serum. It’s hands down my new favorite skincare product and I plan on ordering more as soon as my bottle is empty.

The best part about Root’s products is how affordable they are compared to a lot of other green beauty brands. This serum is a great example. A lot of facial serums are anywhere from $75-$150 and this serum, even in the larger size, is $63.

There are only 6 ingredients in this serum and each ingredient has been picked intentionally. It’s made up of grapeseed oil, argan oil, Australian sandalwood oil, organic helichrysum essential oil, bergamot essential oil, and pink grapefruit essential oil.

I’ve been applying the Beauty Sleep Perfecting Serum right after I wash my face each night and I’ve noticed a huge difference when I wake up in the morning. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and noticeably brighter.

So, have you ordered yourself any products from Root yet? If not, what are you waiting for? If you have, what have you ordered?

Disclosure: I did receive these products from Root, but all views are my own. I would never endorse a product that I wouldn’t use myself.
